Welcome! Relevé is a French word that means "raised up" or "uplifted." Relevé with Rachel is about community and lifting each other up. It's about leaving a class feeling challenged and strong, and not defeated or frustrated. It's about mindful movement that forges a deeper connection to ourselves and each other. It's about creating a toolbox to use both on and off the mat.
I have been loving your classes! I love yoga, but I honestly never thought barre was for me until my sister recommended that I try your classes, and I have been hooked ever since. I injured my knee back in January and wasn’t able to run for a month, and I am so thankful that I had your classes during that time - they helped me stay sane while I was recovering and they’ve become a staple in my exercise routine ever since! I always look forward to your classes - they are challenging and fun, and your positivity always helps me push myself a little further than I thought I could.
Rachel is the reason I fell in love with barre. I hadn’t taken it in years, and remembered being indifferent when I had tried it in the past. Her class is challenging but so approachable! and fun! I felt like a pro after a couple of weeks, and I need to add that I started taking her classes 20 weeks pregnant. Rachel always remembered to give me informed modifications and touch base before/after class to make sure everything felt okay. I look forward to my postpartum journey back into fitness taking Rachel’s class because I trust that it will be fun and safe!
My good friend recommended your classes! I took a couple last year during quarantine and started taking barre on my Peloton subscription but quickly ran out of content, so I tried one of your classes again and was hooked! I am in my final weeks of my grad school program and barre has been the one workout I don’t dread and you bring such a great energy! I look forward to taking more classes with you!
I'm a Boston-based RYT200 Yoga Teacher and Certified Barre Instructor. I fell in love with barre and yoga at a time when I was feeling very unsure of myself. I found the movement and mindfulness to be incredibly healing and empowering; it allowed me to stay present and grounded.
I've been teaching since 2016, both in studios and gyms, and now virtually. I strive to create classes that are accessible and inclusive, because wellness is for everyone.
